A small group from the German House made the trip to Observatory hill tonight to take a look through the telescope. They didn’t even point the telescope at the moon, because you could only see a small fraction of its surface through it. They had a portable one for the eclipse. What we could see through the main telescope, though, was the Omega-Nebular and, the thing that impressed me most, the planet Saturn and its rings. Cool!
